Book: THE
AMERICAN FOCUS ON GANGS - Series Volume #1
|
GANGS 101 and a Whole Lot More!, October
7, 2000
Make no mistake about the title, The
American Focus on Gangs makes a statement in the investigative
research and the criminal investigation arenas that more than
meets the eye. It should be termed "The Bible" on gangs and
violence because the author, celebrated gang "guru" Lou Jordan
tells law enforcement, corrections, the educational community,
parents and significant others just what works and what doesn't
work when it comes to the topic of gangs, a topic he is well
aware of. This book offers the Who, What, When, Where, Why and
How about Gangs and what to do with them and about them. It
offers a truly unique approach from the standpoints of
Awareness, Training, Intervention, Prosecution, Prevention and
Eradication.
To further drive the point that you have to know a gang
when you see one and not be mistaken about what a gang is and
what a gang isn't, so The American Focus on Gangs has teamed up
with other gang authorities to include witb this title, the
Street Gang Identification Manual, which provides an in-depth
focus on signs, symbols and the 411 of gang identification.
No law enforcement, correction, self-help, security or
educational agency or institution in the nation or anywhere that
gangs are a problem, should be without this two-volume vital
resource. It's just that important! |
When you hire
the right keynote speaker, your audience leaves
energized, entertained,
educated and alive with
possibilities. Only a motivational speaker
with a gang and diversity background AND dedication
to research on what the top 1% do differently can
energize and inspire your people to this level.
In the gang world, few people command the
respect that L. Louis Jordan does. He is an internationally sought-after
public speaker who has addressed Fortune 500 companies and corporate

Lou believe his educational

when they are constructors of their own knowledge. He also believes that
people who are taught in ways that honor their learning styles, history,

learning with which they entered school or life. A central theme of his
work is that we must prepare young people for their future, not for our
past.
